and here is a little close-up of the golden parts of the head.

I used foam rubber, cut out the pieces, then trailed the edges with a 3-d-glue (dunno what its called in english, sorry, but it's basically a glue that is not as liquid as normally and that stays in form when you trail a line and it dries)

I let it dry over night, than painted it with gold lacquer.
I than used a lot of water and black acryl colours to trail the inner rims of the edges and smooth them out into the middle (gold) of the pieces.

Afterwards I used hot glue to put it on the head and attached gold lacqued half orbs (wooden) and shims
